According to the Post Chronicle, Angelina Jolie likes to make her young son Maddox walk barefoot whenever they’re in his native Cambodia, in order to toughen the little bastard up.

Angelina Jolie attempts to harden her son Maddox’s feet whenever they return to his native Cambodia by making him walk around without shoes on. The actress admits her eldest son isn’t always happy to go native when he goes ‘home,’ but Jolie thinks it’s important young Maddox lives the Cambodian experience. She explains, “When we go to Cambodia I always say, ‘Take our shoes off,’ and we walk across the rocks. There was a time he would whine about little things like that and I’ll say, ‘Everybody in Cambodia can walk with bare feet. They get tough Cambodian feet.’ So the two of us will take our shoes off and walk across the rocks and go eat a cricket.”

Who would honestly be happy visiting the shit hole that you almost died in? It could all be a big joke and the Jolie-Pitts plotting to kick Maddox out of the fam. Make him run for the helicopter then laugh as you fly away! That would be a funny trick. This kid is still scared as fuck, I wouldn’t make him visit that awful place and eat bugs ever!
