Ashlee Simpson photo-shopped onto CW’s Melrose Place promo posters, now canned without job after 3 episode appearance
It never really occurred to us that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was even cast, let alone given a feature role in the CW’s resurrection of Melrose Place set to premiere this week (Sep. 8). Even if her tenure on the show is short, the network somehow decided Ashlee was important enough for these promo shots (thanks Photoshop department) released also featuring Katie Cassidy, Jessica Lucas, Stephanie Jacobsen, and Laura Leighton.
