
The annual list we’d like to assume is meant for you ladies out there in our interweb audience has finally been decided up this year–AskMen’s Top 49 Most Influential Men Of 2008 made its debut Tuesday after months of crunching reader votes, finally packaged ready for your curiosity. Barack Obama took this year’s #1 award, with Steve Jobs and Michael Phelps pulling the respective #2 and #3 positions.
After a voting period that drew more than 200,000 votes, AskMen’s Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2008 have been chosen, and the list is now revealed. This year, we presented our readers with a unique voting process: In addition to picking those candidates who had most influenced them, readers were given the tools to comment on how each candidate had influenced them. The final result is a list of men whose breadth of influence spans multiple industries and countries, and who have inspired everyday guys in a variety of ways. So, who had the biggest impact on the way men behave, buy and think?
