Avril Lavigne Hates Britney Spears

Avril Lavigne like, totally hates Britney Spears, but when her mommy still had control over the young pop-rocker, rules were rules — Avril was forced to watch Brit perform live, in order to become better herself. Yeah, right.

“My mom made me go to a Britney Spears concert when I was young,” she confessed to Jane magazine. “I was like, ‘No, I don’t want to.’ She was like, ‘If you’re going to be a performer, you need to see other people.”
