The 22-year-old singer was politely asked to leave the lavish ceremony at London’s Royal Opera House after talking loudly throughout the pop superstar’s speech before she presented the Inspiration Award to designer David Collins. A source said: “Lily was being rude and loud, she was chatting all the way through and it was painfully obvious. At first nobody noticed but then it was evident what she was doing - even Madonna gave her a look.” Lily - who presented the Best Band prize to the Kaiser Chiefs - then embarrassed herself further by stumbling over her strapless red dress on the way to the toilet. An insider revealed: “Lily tripped up and went flying near a table. Her PR told her they had to go and marched her out. She didn’t even make it to the after-party.” But Lily wasn’t willing to call it night, and decided to gatecrash the after-party for the premiere of Keira Knightley’s latest film ‘Atonement’ at Claridge’s Hotel. Unfortunately for Lily, Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie arrived at the hotel soon after. A source said: “Madonna looked slightly disgusted and left shortly afterwards.”
