Even The Mayor Hates Sanjaya Malakar

In what appears to be another blow to Sanjaya Malakar’s ego, and very foundation holding him up through American Idol competition, the Mayor in his hometown of Federal Way, WA refuses to dedicate a Sanjaya Malakar day in honor of his achievements. Arch enemy Blake Lewis however was recognized by his hometown of Bothell

Bothell — What does American Idol finalist Blake Lewis have that fellow finalist Sanjaya Malakar does not? The answer–his own day. The city of Bothell honored hometown singer Lewis with a proclamation saying he’s reinvigorated community spirit and deserves to be recognized for that. Q13 Fox News reports “That city’s manager says Federal Way has more important things to deal with and won’t push to give the 17-year old a proclamation.”
