Certainly, one thing is clear–this latest “F-list“ celebrity display of attention-whoring relies not only on the love of 3rd-world orphans, but also upon shameless desperation for publicity! It’s Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley posing with adopted daughter, 10-month-old Naleigh…straight off the boat (or commercial airplane in this case) from South Korea!
The duo released this “joyous,” “loving” photo of virgin parenthood and exclusive peek at their freshly purchased kiddo to UsMag (or highest bidder, for you hardliners.) Hmm…wonder why they couldn’t pick a perfectly good American orphan?
“Katherine, Josh and Naleigh are together and doing well,” her rep said in a statement. Naleigh, a special-needs child, “was actually born the day before me in November, which I thought was really serendipitous and just kind of like a sign,” Heigl, 30, said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week. Heigl said she named her baby after her mother, Nancy, and her sister, Margaret Leigh, who was also adopted from Korea.
