Drunk driver and Prison Break star Lane Garrison appeared in court today for his sentencing in the accident that killed 17-year-old Setian Vahagn, and the actor may be free in 90 days if doctors deem him fit for probation instead of the clink.
Judge Elden Fox just ruled in the Garrison case. Judge Fox said, “The fact that you may have some notoriety, I don’t really care.” Judge Fox went on, “We don’t have all the information. I intend to remand Mr. Garrison today to the Department of Corrections for diagnostics.” Garrison was remanded to the Sheriff’s Dept. and he will then be transported to the Dept. of Correction. When he left the courtroom, he was not cuffed and he kissed all his family members. This is a HUGE win for Garrison and his lawyers, Rich Hutton and Harland Braun. Garrison could be a free man 90 days from today.
It’s amazing what big money can get you out of in the legal system — I’d hate to think if Lane was just an average person how hard they’d fuck him! 90 days instead of 4 years sounds like a great deal to me. Lucky bastard.
