Lohan Broke As A Joke

Indeed a dirty tactic, but Lindsay Lohan needs to earn a living somehow — the broke starlet has been staging photo ops in order to sell the pics herself, according to this latest Gatecrasher piece:

Tabloid types are suspicious of a package of photos of Lindsay Lohan going to a recording studio that were offered for sale last week for $30,000. “They were offered through a photo agency, but they’re clearly staged — she’s in full hair and makeup,” says a snitch. The assumption made by several photo editors was that the pics represented a new source of income for Lohan, as film offers have dried up owing to her addiction problems. However, a friend of Lohan’s defends the practice of colluding with paparazzi.

“Everyone does this in Hollywood; it’s totally normal,” the pal tells us. “Lindsay’s excited about the new album and wants to get the word out.” Meanwhile, a separate source tells us Lindsay has been kept off the list for a number of influential industry holiday parties. “Nobody is comfortable bringing her into an environment with alcohol,” says the source. “Whether she’s rehabbed or relapsed, it’s bad either way.”
