Miley Cyrus posing topless in the new issue of Vanity Fair has the internets panties in a bunch today, but the I fail to see the controversy. Besides the fact that she’s not actually showing any breast or nipple, Miley going topless for an artistic photo shoot probably just earned her, Disney, and daddy more money than you made all month. Just add that to her billions.
Pop star and 15-year-old Disney sensation MILEY CYRUS tells ET she’s “embarrassed” about an upcoming photograph of her appearing semi-topless in the new Vanity Fair issue. “I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” she tells ET. “I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”
When Miley flashes her bare crotch or gets drunk and naked at some Hollywood club, then we’ll have a real scandal on our hands. Until then, a little bra exposure is about the naughtiest it gets.

Controversial? I think not! I had visions of this being really BAD, almost pornographic, but it is just artistic.
In every pic I have seen of her she looks older than her actual age of 15, but in this she actually looks her age.
I think it is a beautiful shot and I can’t see why she feels the need to apologise. The shot isn’t sexy, more vulnerable and almost angelic like. So I personally do not see the problem.
