Mischa Barton is currently in NYC taking in the fashion festivities, but all may be dark and emo inside the head of this Hollywood starlet ever since the photo above surfaced. It was taken earlier at the Samsung Imagination Icon Series in New York, held at the Grace Building. While it’s clearly evident Mischa has some strange looking cuts and scrapes on her hand, it’s left to speculate just how, and why they’re present.
The NinjaDude.com resident psychiatrist is leaning towards depression, loneliness and emo music. Maybe she’s been listening to Jared Leto’s band a bit much lately? Or possibly, Ms. Barton aims to render cutting and self-harm the popular thing amongst hipster’s. Yes, we know she’s still a flower child because of that hippy wrap on her dome. Since you’ve probably not a better guess than her emotional instability as the root cause of these mystery cuts, the only other possibility worth mentioning is a simple drunk and stumbly night (with help from the pavement of course.)
