That Didn’t Take Long, Nor Does It Surprise

After merely 2.5 years of rough, dirty sex with one another, Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey have finally gotten sick of it, as the couple reportedly calls it quits, though “amicably” splitting ways, remaining good friends. Uhh…yeah, which basically means: triple-bag the dong if Vanessa approaches you in the coming weeks for rebound rides, ’cause she’s most definitely still bouncing off some mystery cock.

“They have amicably split but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another,” Minnillo’s rep tells says, as both publicists have spoken out on behalf of the stars to UsMagazine. Adds a source: “It was an amicable break-up. They walk away from it still friends. They still care about each other very much. This is what’s best for both of them.”

The couple hooked up in 2006 – the year after Lachey split from wife Jessica Simpson. In 2007, Minnillo told Us she wanted to have kids with Lachey: “I always say I want three boys and a girl, but at the end of the day, I just want healthy kids.”

Looks like Nick wanted nothing to do with that family plan! Doesn’t mean there’s a shortage of men willing to donate their kids to Vanessa’s cause.
