Oasis was midway through its headlining set at this year’s Virgin Festival when a man rushed the band from the side of the back-stage area and pushed Gallagher during the 1995 hit Morning Glory. Security personal apprehended an unnamed intruder who was later charged with assault.
After a short break, Oasis did return to the stage to complete the concert, performing wistful hits Don’t Look Back in Anger and Wonderwall and three other songs before finishing with the Beatles’ I Am the Walrus.
