Owen Wilson has finally returned home this weekend after spending time inside Cedars-Sinai following a failed suicide attempt. It was noted that no apparent scars could be seen on Owen’s wrists, thus prompting speculation that either the initial reports were false or, this was strictly for publicity.
The actor was well enough to visit his brother Luke’s Los Angeles house - his arms showing no obvious signs of scarring. Days earlier the 38-year-old star had looked gaunt and bedraggled when he arrived at his Santa Monica pad being discharged from hospital. The comedy actor, who looks to have lost a lot of weight, is under the careful watch of his family and friends. The Wedding Crashers star said he was happy that he had been “saved from himself”.
Maybe all the drugs convinced him to pull of a bad joke? I certainly wouldn’t admit after the fact I’d faked suicide in order to promote something!
