Shia LeBeouf’s publicity team fired up the damage control machine, shortly after the Transformers star appeared on tape using “anti-gay” terminology. A video surfacing roughly 1 week ago stars a drunk Shia with partying friends, engaged in a game of “smack me in the face so I can look both tough, and cool, pretending I’ve just felt nothing.” After a bit of hesitation by the pal and Mr. LeBeouf shouting “faggot,” the slap was delivered in full force!
Yeah, uh…that game isn’t much fun the next morning, LOL. Below video was shot about 1-3 years ago, from the looks of it.
A rep for the Indiana Jones star says he’s “embarrassed” by a YouTube video that made its way around the Internet yesterday and earlier today. The clip, which has been pulled by YouTube, shows LaBeouf participating in a sophomoric slapping contest with a friend during what appears to be a boozy house party. LaBeouf successfully provoked his pal to whack him by calling him a “faggot.”
“The videotape that is currently being circulated is several years old and captures Shia playing a game among friends in which he uses a derogatory word toward a friend,” LaBeouf’s rep tells me exclusively. “He regrets having used the word in any capacity and is very embarrassed that this footage is being seen by anyone.”
They should have been drinking cocktails mixed with Purple..then they could get the benefit of the antioxidants… increased brain function… and avoid ‘acting’ like that.
