Former Social Distortion bassist Brent Liles has been killed in a bicycle accident on southern California’s Orange Freeway, authorities confirm. The 43-year-old was struck by a truck on Thursday as he rode his bicycle across the freeway in Placentia, California, reports MTV. He was pronounced dead at the scene and an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
