Shia LaBeouf received his slap on the wrist for a July ‘08 drunken crash in Hollywood which left his hand mangled and F-150 totaled. Ol’ boy caught a lucky break it seems, and yet another celeb easily snakes off the hook–a mere 1 year license suspension, which began on Jan. 17th, is all Shia received.
In September, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office announced there was “insufficient evidence” to charge the “Transformers” star with drunken driving for his involvement in the accident, which left his hand badly injured.
The actor was arrested for suspicion of DUI following the crash after showing “physical signs” of being impaired, LA Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Steve Whitmore previously said. However, at the time, the DA’s office did note LaBeouf’s refusal to take a breathalyzer test could result in a suspension of his license.

Your “slap on the wrist” comment is completely ignorant. This is the punishment required by CA law! Same thing would have applied to ANYONE! MOST states will automatically suspend your license for not taking the breathalyzer test, but you have the right to refuse.

There’s nothing ignorant about that comment. The piece of shit got in a DUI crash and only got his license taken away. Most people get 1-3 years
