I bet Tiger Woods regrets this shirtless Annie Leibovitz photoshoot in Vanity Fair, considering it occurred before the biggest sex scandal of ‘09, when he smashed over a fire hydrant while dazed in his SUV…fleeing from a 9-iron (wielded by wife Elin Nordegren.)
Miss Leibovitz herself commented on the epic shoot, also likely before the Cheetah was exposed, boasting:
“Tiger is an intensely competitive athlete—and quite serious about his sport. I wanted to reveal that in these photos. And to show his incredible focus and dedication.”
We’re not so sure about that, so click inside for a deeper look and laugh of T. Woods infamous downfall!

kfccanada – IMHO, this picture of Tiger does not show ‘incredible focus and dedication’. Look in his eyes….and at the set of his mouth. They show a lack of assuredness, intense worry, vulnerability and on-going pain. The picture does not characterize the way he really feels inside. He looks haunted. Golf is meant to be a gentleman’s sport with an aura of good conduct, comraderie and proper attire. I’d prefer to see Tiger dressed to the nines with a huge smile on his face and looking directly into the camera. In virtually all pictures of Tiger (especially with his wife)presented by various media to date, his eyes appear to be looking furtively over his shoulder, appearing to scan the audience for …whomever…and not fully ‘in the moment’. His emotional pain has been there for all to see for a long, long time.
keekee77 – Both my sons are huge Tiger fans and avid golfers. I told them years ago I thought Woods was a simpering punk. They’ve always accused me of resenting him because he’s so successful. But the reality is that Tiger’s expressions and bearing have always suggested to me that he possesses a level of ego and hubris so profound that it has left him delusional. There’s something about Woods that reminds of the Billy Mummy character in that old Twilight Zone episode where the child with the magic powers terrorize everyone around him - because he can. Woods isn’t to blame though. If you took any young man and surrounded him with blood suckin sycophants and told him he could have as much of anything he wanted - people included - you would eventually end up with this emotionally stunted, distorted human being who thinks everything and everybody is his for the taking. It’s human nature. In his photo, I see confirmation of this.
