Willie Nelson Busted With Pot And Shrooms

73-year-old Willie Nelson and members of his entourage were busted early today in Louisiana with a shitload of marijuana and mushrooms. He was issued a misdemeanor along with 3 other band members for the 2 substances, then released.

Since when do you get released after being busted with over a pound of pot and enough mushrooms to trip for a month? Oh yeah, when you’re Willie Nelson.

Trooper Willie Williams said “The tour bus was stopped on a common interstate vehicle inspection, and when the trooper approached the bus door a strong odor of marijuana was detected. The occupants were not brought to jail because it was not accepting [inmates] on misdemeanor charges.” During a search of the bus, Williams claimed approximately 1 1/2 pounds of marijuana and approximately 2/10 of a pound of mushrooms were located on the bus.
